AMC's Fear the Walking Dead Season 1 x6 Recap and Review " A Good Man"

A solid but predictable episode. Some things worked, others things... not so much. Nick realizes he has a leg up. Travis finally breaks. Chris continues to survive. We lose a family member. And I'm left wondering; is this show an origin story for villians? The options are limitless in Strand, Madison, and Nick as the latter two find a possible mentor in the man with the plan. If this is the direction the show is going, I am invested. Full discosure; we celebrated the finale with a few drinks. Cheers!

HBO's Westworld Top 3 2x8 "Kiksuya "

What a spectacular episode. Ford and Ake meet in which a God realizes life finds a way. Ake may be the true birth of the hosts as a species and has found his first disciple in Maeve; what does this mean for her role in the revolution? Speaking of the Queen of my world, she can communicate and spy through the park with other hosts! Wow, what a twist I was so immesrsed in the story that I was blown away. Lee may just be a key player in the coming seasons and I'll tell you why and exactly how his transformation is so important. Holy and unholy trinities; what is the tangled web between Creators, Fathers, and their daughters. 

AMC's Fear the Walking Dead 1x5 "Colbalt" Recap and Review

So many plots going in this penultimate episode. Moyers teaches Travis a lesson. Madison is willing to be an accomplice to just about anything now that she's killed a man; forgetting the fact that she has a daughter. Meanwhile, said daughter gets drunk and plays hookie with Chris. Liza faces reality. And Nick meets a new friend in the enigmatic Strand. 

Syfy's Z Nation 4x8 Recap & Review " Crisis of Faith"

Canada has quite the welcome and the team is forced to a church where a stranger offers inspiration. Amongst nuns and hockey players, not so subtle Warphy rises. 

HBO's Westworld Top 3 2x1 " Les Ecorches"

Ford and Bernard strike the match! Maeve vs M.I.B; a clash of righteous vengeance. It also adds evermore mystery surrounding the Lakota's motives and who Maeve could be destined to become. Delores and Maeve; a tale of two ideals and a interlude that proves these women are not enemies and have a mutual respect despite their vast differences. 

AMC's Fear the Walking Dead Season 1x 4 Recap and Review "Not Fade Away"

The best episode of the season thus far! Madison takes a field trip. Travis plays mayor of seigetown. Ophelia has some tricks up her sleeve. Nick continues to be my favorite scumbag. Dr. Exner seems a necessary evil and the kids prove to not be alright.

Delores and Teddy's trip down memory lane that finally gives us better insight into the mindset of Delores. Maeve & Company navigate Shogun world, where she accidentally stumbles onto her own history in Lee's knockoff version of Westworld. Hector is jealous. Armistice is enamored and Maeve shows what it's like to evolve.
