As soon as that women touched her hair I was like hello no! Not only because I have naturally curly hair which people often touch without permission, but because I have freaked out on women doing "less" than that to me or other women. And so true about needing to speak up for others too. I also think we should remember or native American friends. I live in Idaho and sometimes when my cousins wore thier feathers (its just one feather passed down in thier families) for like graduations would

True!!! And often white women then pit other minorities against each other in the work place. I am used to being the only latina in a room full of white people, but if there are multiple minorities in the room you can bet that all of a sudden people be trying to play up the differences between forget that you were just putting me down last week, as soon as another minority women has my back, all of a sudden I got an invitation to the club and you love the "values" of my culture.
